Why should MWD downhole high temperature lithium batteries be disposable?

High temperature tolerance: MWD downhole environments are extremely hot, and disposable lithium batteries are designed for such high temperature environments, able to withstand temperatures up to 150°C or higher.

Safety: The underground environment is complex, and the disposable lithium battery avoids the safety risks that may occur during the charging process, such as overcharging and overheating, which ensures the safety of the operation.

Seamless switching design: In order to extend the working time of MWD downhole instruments, multiple batteries may need to be connected in parallel for power supply. The disposable Li-ion battery supports seamless switching design to ensure the continuity and stability of power supply.
